large old silver plate waiter's tray, vintage serving tray Wm Rogers Victorian Rose

Vintage Wm Rogers / International Silver silverplated waiters tray, about 22" over the rim of the tray, 24 1/2" across the handles. It's very heavy, probably silver over copper.

This is one of the older ones, used to death and very lovely with it's worn and tarnished silver. We'd love to know the story behind those sturdily repaired handles!
