large old wash pitcher or milk jug, shabby browned white china antique vintage

Late 'teens or early 1920s vintage Illinois China Company pitcher with classic shape usually found on old ironstone. This ceramic is not as resistant to staining as true ironstone or semi-porcelain, as you can see from it's amazing color!

This is crazily crazed and stained, a pale ash to deep brown all over. We've never seen a piece this browned before, as we love it!

The pitcher stands about 8 1/2" tall overall, and is in good solid shape except for the staining.
