hand-painted vintage Italian pottery, plates and large soup cup bowls

Vintage hand-painted Italy pottery, extra large soup cups (all sized like a real soup bowl, but with handles like cups) and plates large enough to hold a salad or sandwich on the side.

This is a lot of four 7 3/4" diameter plates each with a matching cup 5 1/2" in diameter x 3" deep. Two of the cups and one of the plates have chips, and none of the cup and saucer sets exactly match the others, but the wine-red color is the same on all, and we think they make a charming set together!
