large soup tureen w/ notched lid, vintage Franciscan Desert Rose USA backstamp

Vintage USA mark Franciscan pottery soup tureen in the Desert Rose pattern. This measures about 12 1/2" across the handles, bowl diameter about 9 1/2".

This is a hard to find piece, in excellent condition without damage or any signs of wear. I don't believe this has ever been used.
