large wedding vase, authentic signed Native American Cedar Mesa black on black pottery

Large black on black pottery wedding vase (about 12" tall). This is artist signed, and has a label from Cedar Mesa pottery taped to the bottom.

I'm not any kind of an expert on Indian pottery, and I don't know the exact vintage of this piece, sorry. There's no chips or damage, though I believe this piece was used in a wedding, there's a piece of white ribbon at the bottom of the pot which I did not try to remove.
