vintage Lincoln's home needlework sampler in rustic antique adirondack frame
more photos of this product belowAntique adirondack camp style leaves and sticks style carved walnut wood frame with embroidered picture of Lincoln's home... the needlework is dated 1964, but we would have had a hard time believing it was so recently worked if we hadn't seen the date, as it really does look like an older piece from the late 19th or early 20th century. I don't know if it was 'antiqued' intentionally (if so, very skillfully done) or if this is what naturally happens to your linens if nicely displayed instead of being stored wrapped in acid-free tissue in a cedar chest (oh, dear!).
The sampler area measures about 10" x 10", and the inside frame area measures 14" x 10 1/2". One of the 'sticks' at the top corner has been broken away, shows in the photos.
