hand-painted Japan lithophane china tea set, pair of birds in cherry tree

Lovely vintage Kushida - Japan lithophane porcelain tea set for six (six each of 7 3/4" plates and cup and saucer sets) and 51/2" tall teapot, all with handpainted doves in cherry blossom branches.

The cups each have a geisha girl at the bottom, visible when this delicate china is held to the light.

The whole set is in excellent condition without chips or wear to the paint - I don't believe it was ever used.
