lone star patchwork quilt starburst pieced diamonds primitive red pink vintage cotton fabric

Beautiful old cotton fabrics - some calico prints - on this hand stitched lone star. We love the colors, deep barn red, rustic rose pink.

It measures about 48" across the points, with wear at the edges of the star, though this doesn"t look as though it was ever tied or quilted. It"s covered in brown rust spots, which really don"t detract from it"s charm - so we haven"t tried to remove them!
