lot antique silk floss embroidery thread w/ old paper labels vintage 1898-1906

Large lot of assorted old silk embroidery thread, circa 1890s to about 1906. The colors are beautiful, bright and lustrous.

Some of these have been cut into working lengths, and some are noticeably brittle from age, although unfaded. We've left it altogether, just as we found it.
