loving doves birds sitting in a tree ornate vintage cast metal S&P shakers

Ornate figural salt and pepper shakers, cast metal with a silver colored or silver plate finish, now very worn. This set is made in Japan, 50+ years old.

The set (birds in place on the branch) measures about 4 1/2" long x 3" tall.

The doves are both missing their stopper corks, and the tree branch base needs a new felt on the bottom.
