mid century vintage 100 - 39 silver plate flatware complete service for 12, Wirths style mod design

Mid century modern vintage silver plate flatware set, a complete set for 12 in very good condition, seldom if ever used. The wood chest which has stored it all these years does show wear, but it's kept the flatware looking great. Very little tarnish on this set.

I'm not familiar with this makers mark, and I have not been able to find out anything at all about it though I've searched my books and scoured the internet.

The stainless blades on the knives are marked Rostfrei (rust free AKA stainless), and they look like Solingen to me.

The mark on the silver is 100 - 39 (a German designation for a fairly high level of silver, these are very high quality plate). Which we could all guess from the very stylish design, this is not your everyday department store silverplate!

The mark looks to me like an eagle, with a sort of a circular design. Art deco style, and very German, I think. Might be Swiss, I just don't know for certain.
