Large Japanese cranes figurine, hand painted, made in Japan. This piece is about 7" tall.

I believe these are the classic red crowned cranes, a symbol of good luck and good fortune. This has been very carefully cared for and has no chips, cracks or repairs - just a little glaze crazing from age.
