miniature bronze donkey or burro pack animal figure, vintage souvenir of the Grand Canyon

Tiny old cast metal donkey or burro with pack on his back, just 2 1/4" long. This looks as though it had painted details originally, though most of the paint is gone. There's a lovely dark patina to the metal, it looks like bronze.

I believe this was a souvenir from a trip to the Grand Canyon, many years ago. There's no makers marks that I could see, and I'm not sure of its exact age - it's early to mid 20th century.
