miniature cast metal easel stand picture frame for oval photo or cameo

Vintage cast brass (or spelter with antique gold brass finish?) easel frame, with oval for cameo or photo 1 1/2" long. The frame measures just 4 1/2" tall overall, small enough to use with other miniatures in a shadowbox or dollhouse.

We didn't find a marking on this one, though we'd expect it's probably Italian - I'm thinking it must have had a paper Italy label.
