miniature treenware boxes, vintage burl wood, inlaid border woodenware

Two small handmade wood boxes - snuff boxes or pillboxes? lovely for jewelry or other small trinkets.

The round box is walnut burl wood, 1 1/4" in diameter.

The retangular box is 1 1/2" long, has intarsia or inlay border (purple heart wood on maple, we think). The reverse of the box is inlaid with a purple wood heart.

Neither is marked is signed that we could see, but both are beautifully made, and in very good condition.
