mod vintage Japan stoneware casserole w/ lid, green band Apache Gold Arrow stone

Apparently this vintage Arrow Stone colorway is called 'Apache Gold', I don't know why, as it's GREEN, not gold!

I do love the bold banded pattern and the matte finish of this Showa - Japan stoneware casserole. It's 8" in diameter across the bowl, 10 1/2" across the handles.

It doesn't look as though it's ever been used, it's very clean with just a few light marks.
