huge vintage pure linen tablecloth, vintage Madeira / Portugal, mustard gold

Beautiful pure linen dinner or banquet tablecloth, golden mustard color with banded border, measures 98" x 56". The fabric is lovely, soft and heavy, with subtle irregularities left from the hand weaving process.

This was brought from Madeira or Portugal many years ago, it's fresh out of an estate with a whole trunk full of other linens and fabrics, embroideries and handwoven pieces from the same region. It's not marked except with a small laundry mark from the former owner, and looks to be in excellent condition overall with just a few light marks from storage.
