new w/ tags mid century mod vintage stainless party server, covered bowl for dip or sour cream

MCM vintage 'hostess server' in excellent unused condition with original paper insert and hang tag. It's Riviera - Japan, pattern is Monterey. Looks like a Stanley Roberts pattern to me.

This is made to hold the old fashioned paper cottage cheese or sour cream containers (pound size). It fits the modern plastic containers too, but the rim of the plastic tub fits right where the fitter on the lid wants to be. Maybe the lid would go on with the fitter rim inside the plastic container? Or you could always just put your sour cream right into the bowl, since it's stainless after all!
