30s vintage double compact for powder and rouge, antique nickel silver

1920s - 30s vintage double compact, 2 1/2" in diameter overall. There's a full width compartment for face powder, and a little compartment for rouge.

It's marked silver plated nickel silver, and looks as though the original finish might have been enamel decorated as well.

The finish is very dirty and tarnished, and worn, as well - we've been afraid to try to clean this up as we don't want to damage it further, we've just wiped it with a slightly damp wet cloth, and have not touched it with chemicals or polishes of any kind.

We can't see a maker's mark, but would expect to find it marked under the tarnishing.
