Beautiful old unmarked Japanese moriage painted porcelain bottle with
woven wicket basket covering. We're not positive of the age of this
piece, but we'd guess very early 1900s vintage, a true antique by
        American standards.

We love the painted design of leaves and acorns, and the way the gold
paint has darkened to a tarnished bronze color. The basketry is nicely
done, probably original to the piece. It looks good yet, without cracking
        or breaking.

The bottle measures about 8" tall with the china stopper in place.
There's no chips or cracks or signs of use to the china. We've looked
for an artist's signature, but not surprisingly have found none.
