old Japan scene transferware relish set trinket dish, browned crazed vintage patina

Vintage Japan china relish set with multicolored transfer scene, a village with bridge and swans. This has such a beautiful antique look, and shows crazing and browning from age. There's a couple of hairlines to the lid, but overall this set is really nice without chips.

The three part dish measures 5 1/2" across the round, and the plate measures 7 1/2" across the rim. This looks like it would be perfect to hold jewelry or other small treasures. There's not a lot of need for relish dishes these days, but no one can ever have too many trinket boxes.
