old antique majolica plate, ferns & flowers unknown maker faience pottery unmarked

Beautiful very old unmarked majolica style pottery plate with a fern and flower pattern, about 9 1/4" in diameter.

This a heavy glazed pottery, showing many old browned chips and a discolored hairline (tight, most visible to the back of the plate). It's a beautiful piece, we wish we knew a little more about it.
