old antique patchwork quilts in barn red & yellow, bow-tie & nine patch quilt
more photos of this product belowPair of early 1900s vintage patchwork quilts, both hand-stitched, both in beautiful rich colors, bard red and yellow gold. The size is very close on both of these quilts - though not identical, you could easily use them on a pair of beds.
Condition is very good, very minimal wear and fraying, just a few small spots here and there. No thinning, fading, rips or holes on either.
The barn red quilt measures 76" x 72", it's backed in cotton muslin, somewhat browned and water spotted.
The golden yellow quilt measures 78" x 74", and has a backing pieced together of old feed and flour sacks in a natural unbleached color. There's some browning to the backing on this one, too.
