old antique soapstone block foot warmer for sleigh or buggy, Victorian vintage

Late 1800s or very early 1900s vintage soapstone 'brick' foot warmer for buggy or sleigh, about 12" x 10" over the block.

These were once a common sight in town and country alike, but we don't find many of these left around anymore!
