old cotton flour sack pillowcases w/ lavender floral fabric border, cottage vintage bedding

1940s vintage pillowcases made from unbleached cotton flour sack fabric edged in lavender purple print cotton fabric, never used and oh so pretty! These measure 32" x 20", they'll fit nice fat pillows.

These are about 80 years old now, made by a thrifty homemaker in the days when Use it up - Wear it out - Make it Do or Do without was a very real part of nearly everyone's life. The sack fabric is nice and clean overall, but not flawless. That's part of the charm.
