old cotton & linen thread spools, grubby antique vintage thread cones lot

Lot of assorted old mill end spools of cotton and linen threads, now spotted with age and years of soil. The cone spools range in size from about 6" to 7" tall.

I think you could use this for sewing or needlework (the threads are supple, though grubby), but they make wonderful primitive display pieces just as they are!
