old glass barrel herring jars, primitive country vintage kitchen / pantry storage canisters

Lot of two vintage glass 'barrel' jars (about 6 3/4" tall) with the old metal lids advertising herring. These came out of an old farm estate here in Wisconsin, used as pantry storage canister jars for many years.

The glass jars look excellent, and the metal lids are largely rust free although scratched and worn to the exterior. The old paper labels on the lids are browned and spotted.
