old Rodale Organic Gardening and Farming garden encyclopedia, 1959

Vintage copy of "Encyclopedia of Organic Gardening" published by J. I. Rodale's "Organic Gardening and Farming" magazine. It is copyright 1959, but this is a 1975 printing. This gardening book has 1145 pages with many illustrations. Looking through the book, we saw such topics as: Alfalfa; African Violets; cold frames; compost; cuttings; soil; soil nutrition and temperature, pruning and much much more!

This book has some wear and spotting and cupping to the cover boards from years in an old farm library.
