pair of antique architectural heating registers, ornate cast iron grates

Pair of old early 1900s, Eastlake Arts & Crafts vintage, heat or ventilation wall registers with ornate iron fronts for architectural restoration. They are marked on the front with Auer Register Co., Cleveland, O and have a US patent date of June 24th, 1902.

The fronts of these architectural registers are heavy cast iron and the bodies are steel. They measure about 13 3/4" wide, 10 1/2" high and 5 1/2" thick. They have old black and off-white paint. They are in very nice vintage condition.
