lot antique gold ornate florentine picture frames, old and vintage prints

Lot of vintage ornate gold and gilt finished frames, some wood, some composition, all florentine style. Many of these have European and Italian theme prints, these were part of a collection from the estate of a lady who traveled through Italy many times in the 60s, 70s and 80s. Some of the frames are mady in Italy, as well.

Frame sizes range from 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" square to 10" x 12". All of these have glass, though the glass of the angels print has a short crack across one corner. Most of the prints are slightly faded from age and sunlight, but most of the frames look very good. Some frames do have a little rubbing and wear to the finish, which might be original, as many of these are antiqued gold or applied rubbed gilt.

These would make a lovely collection of frames to hold a grouping of your favorite pictures, or maybe mirrors. We're leaving the old prints in place just as they are, some of these are really pretty.
