painted flowers nesting mixing bowls, vintage French or Portugal pottery

Nest of hand-painted ceramic bowls, French or Portugese pottery, we think, though possibly Spain or Italy? These are signed P. Michele, and have a sunny Mediterranean feel.

Sizes are 5 3/4", 6 1/2" and 7 3/4" at the rim of each bowl. The whole set looks very good, no chips or cracks, very litte crazing.
