pair of doves, vintage solid brass birds animal figurines, heavy paperweights or bookends

Pair of heavy solid brass dove birds, about 4 3/4" long x 3 3/4" tall. These don't seem to be marked that we could find... made in India, 70s or 80s at our best guess.

They're a little small for bookends (unless it's paperbacks!) and a little big and heavy for cake toppers. But they're lovely to hold or display, and would make a wonderful wedding or anniversary gift.
