palm trees beach scene art deco vintage glass serving plate, tray with center handle

Vintage glass canape tray with very art deco platinum border and a beachy scene with palm trees - this looks like old Florida style to me! Very elegant without being overly formal.

This measures about 11 1/2" across the plate, with a center handle for easy serving. There's wear to the ivory color, and to the silvery platinum trim from use. Glass is good without chips or cracks. It would make a lovely catchall tray for an entryway or an office, or even a bedside table.
