more photos of this product belowVintage of the 1944 (1945 printing) 10th edition of "The Leica Manual - A manual for the Amateur and Professional covering the field of Miniature Camera Photography - Willard D. Morgan - Henry M. Lester and Contributors". This has 550 pages and lots of great black & white photo and illustrations, including many pictures of vintage Leica cameras, lenses and related photo equipment. It seem that what they meant by "miniature camera" was what we would consider a normal camera today, rather then the large box cameras of the past that needed large tripods, hoods, flash powder etc..
This edition of the Leica manual has sections on basic technique, Leica equipment, Leica lenses, color filters, photography film selection, exposure and development, making enlarged negatives, setting up your own Leica darkroom, photography papers and photo printing, close-up photography, "Making Leica Positives for Projecting" (photo slides), stereoscopic photography, infra-red photography, aerial photography, photographing insects, the Leica in archeology and exploration and much, much more.
This has a little soil to the top edges of the pages and the front joint of the binding is cracked.
