handmade vintage fringed crochet cotton throw rug, pink and wine purple

1940s vintage hand-crocheted cotton rug in wine purple and rose pink, very pretty and in very nice clean condition. Size is 35" x 21" not including the cotton fringe.

This is all cotton cord weaving / crochet thread, tightly worked for a firm hand and a heavy weight. It lays perfectly flat, very well made, the same from either side.
