vintage california art pottery head vase, handpainted busty lady

Retro vintage art pottery ladies head vase... we were told this was California studio pottery, but can't find a maker's mark on this?

This measures 6 1/4" tall and is in good shape, has some fine all-over crazing, and a small glaze flake to the lady's hair, but both of her rhinestone earrings are firmly in place.
