Vintage early to mid 40s 16 quart (4 gallon) National aluminum pressure cooker with assorted accessories. This is marked "National Pressure Cooker Co - Eau Claire, Wis" (later becoming Presto)and is also marked as a "No. 7". This cooker measures about 12-1/2" across the pot and 7-3/4" deep.

This is out of an old farm estate and is in nice condition (there is some flaking & peeling to the varnish on the wood handles).

This still has some of the original papers that came with the pot. There is even a printed notice & coupon ( pre-dated for March 1, 1947) about the material shortage from the war.
