primitive old stoneware crock jar w/ marbled swirl painted finish, vintage roadside pottery

We love the warm gold and orange colors of this beautiful marbled painted crock... it's just painted onto a plain of stoneware crock to make a cookie jar or fancy flower vase. We think it would be great as part of a primitive style Halloween display.

The crock is about 7" tall overall, 5 1/4" in diameter across the base, made to fit a lid or cork about 3 3/4" in diameter. The painted finish shows some age and wear, and there's a couple of small chips and tight hairlines to the crock.
