old primitive vintage printed cotton sacks for ice blocks or ice cubes

Two old printed cotton sacks advertising ice cubes... I don't know if these originally held the ice cubes, or if they were for block ice for iceboxes (size seems about right) and were simply promoting ice cubes. Might be either, we haven't been able to find out very much at all about these!

These are still sewn up as sacks, except both have holes at the bottom seam. Both measure 15 1/2" x 17 1/2". Both have some spots and stains.
