vintage string holder, old Ransburg hand-painted toleware kitchen canister

Old (unmarked) Ransburg tole ware kitchen canister, converted into a nice big string holder. This would be very handy in the potting shed or garden, or in the kitchen recycling area.

The tin measures 6 1/2" tall x 5" in diameter, and looks very good inside without a lot of wear to the tinned finish. The exterior has some wear to the paint, just a little shabby.
