Edwardian style floral reverse painted glass w/ vintage 1950s advertising calendar

This we thought is a very interesting piece! The paper calendar hanging beneath this painted glass is dated 1951, though you'd ordinarily guess that the glass with the thermometer would be about 20 to 30 years older (1920s or 1930s)... apparently the Iowa based Newton Manufacturing Company had customers who preferred the old-fashioned style.

The glass is reverse painted with pink roses, and measures 8" x 6". This is showing some age and wear, and only the January page remains on the paper calendar.
