rustic wood pickets, fur trapper's pelt stretchers primitive cabin decor

Lot of 10 primitive wood pelt stretching boards from an old farm estate here in Wisconsin. North woods cabin decor or mountain man rendezvous pieces.

These pickets measure about 4" wide at the base and are about 36" long. They are smoothed and tapered with wear to the edges and a patina of use.

Please be warned that these have been made for use and THEY DO SMELL! It's rather like mink oil, but stronger - you can almost imagine the real life of a mountain man with these around.

We haven't tried to deep clean or strip any oils from the wood, and just gave them a quick wipe down with a dust rag. They look cleaned but oiled.
