more photos of this product belowLot of mid-century vintage, home sewing and dressmaking booklets published by the Singer Manufacturing Co. These are from the estate of a woman who taught home economics at a high school for many years.
This lot includes seven sewing booklets, all dated 1957. There are: #1 - About Fabrics and Patterns - 15 pages; #2 Pattern Layout and Cutting - 7 pages; #3 Fitting - Buttonholes and Pockets - 11 pages; #4 Bastings, Seams and Slashes - 11 pages; #5 Seam Finishes, Necklines and Joinings - 11 pages; #6 Sleeves, Pockets and closings - 7 pages; #7 Hems, Belts and Finishes - 11 pages. These booklets are all worn and have pen and pencil markings.
There is also a copy of the 1958 Simplicity Sewing Book - Featuring the Simplicity Unit System of Sewing. It has 144 pages with tons of illustrations. There is a name in pen on the front cover.
