shabby old cast metal cherub angel figures, antique bronze lamp base statues

Pair of shabby vintage lamp base figures, cherubs or baby angels made in a french bronze style. They're 11 1/2" tall, heavy enough to use as statues or candle sticks.

The open bottom edge is numbered, I think, but not marked? We're having an impossible time trying to make out letters or numbers. They're spelter or something similar, not cast iron or brass.

Both are very dirty and have a considerable patina, as well as wear to the original finish. We haven't cleaned these at all, in case you love crusty old pieces like we do!
