lovely shabby vintage tole lace edge metal wall box, painted flowers

Old tole metal box, made salt box style, with sloping hinged cover. This is so pretty, with eyelet 'lace' edge, and handpainted floral on white.

It's 7 1/2" tall at the back, and 6" deep front edge to back. It's not marked at all that we could see, though we expected to find a Decoware or Ransburg marking!

The hinged lid opens and closes easily, without stiffness. Inside and out are nice and clean, though there's wear to the painted finish.
