antique Whitney No 2 Hand punch for sheet metal work 1908 patent

Antique Whitney No 2 sheet metal hand punch. This was made in Rockford, ILL and is marked with a 1908 patent date. This has an interesting geared drive to operate the punch. The punch is about 3/16" diameter and the throat of the punch is about 2".

This is 23" long overall. It is free to move, but has a patina of age and a pin on the linkage has been replaced with a bolt.
