1920s-30s vintage tea room pie basket, silver plate buffet server

Vintage silver plate 'basket' buffet dish, holds an early Pyrex glass pie plate, 8 1/2" in diameter. This is sheffield plate, silver over brass, with the brass showing through in places where the silvering has rubbed away. The remaining silver shows tarnish, and the pie plate has wear and soil from years of use.
