single cast iron book end or door stop, HMS Victory sailing ship vintage nautical decor

The ship is clearly marked 'Victory', but the back of this piece is marked 16th century galleon. This looks to me more like the Napoleonic era than the Renaissance, but ships really aren't my specialty.

I love the worn vintage finish, and anything nautical is always shipshape, I think!
