Small oriental carpet made of a fine silky fiber (cotton? rayon? a cotton rayon blend?). It's sized like a prayer rug, about 43" x 25". But we'd guess this is European in origin.

It's a lovely piece with beautiful rich colors, but it needs cleaning as it's been used. It's not new, but whether it's an actual antique or just a vintage piece we don't know - we know very little about rugs or carpets, I'm sorry!
