solid black wool or blend fabric, vintage material for sewing, crafts, rugmaking

My photos here do no do justice to this true black wool fabric - I believe this is pure wool, but it might be a good quality blend.

It's a 2 1/2 yard length of 62" wide fabric, nice and clean, no fading, never laundered. It's very hard to get a good picture of all black, the camera seems to focus on any speck of light it can see, so this really looks much nicer in real life.
